Get to Know Me Tag

Aloha, babies! I’m back with a new post— a blog tag which I’m so happy to write about! I’ve got nothing to write these past few days so I thought it’d be nice to get on with this and share it with all of you! My lovely blogger friend Angela of Hiding Behind Books had tagged me in to this one, go ahead and read her Get to Know Me Tag too!

Let’s get this party, started!!!

1. What’s your middle name?
Let’s be clear about this thing here. Here in the Philippines, middle names are your mother’s maiden surname while for all I know in most countries, it refers to your second name. Well, my middle name is Joy. The synonym of happiness and like the first word of the Christmas carol “Joy to the World”

2. When was the last time you cried?
About 2 months ago, on mom’s birthday, I miss her so much!! That’s the last time I cried like hell.

3. What’s your favourite pizza?
Margherita & pepperoni!

4. What’s your favourite flower?
This is tough lol I literally love every flower that exists! But my favorites are roses, tulips, sunflowers & peonies.

5. What’s your favourite season?
Oh I live in a country near the equator and unfortunately, we only have 2 seasons— hot/summer season and cold/rainy season. I’m actually really jealous of all the people who get to experience all 4 seasons, so I’m just going to pretend like I’m from the western part of the world here: my favorite season would be winter! It seems like a pretty beautiful season although I know some of you might not really like it, I’d totally want to build up a snowman one day or go ice skating!

6. Do you like to camp?
I’ve never got the chance to do such thing, but I’d love to!

7. Do you untie your shoes when taking them off?
Nope!

8. Do you like rollercoasters?
Oh gosh, I don’t! It makes me feel so damn loopy (lol don’t we all?)

9. What is your favorite ice cream?
Definitely salted caramel, green tea & pistachio ice cream!

10. What is your favourite thing to do?
I’d definitely say “to read books” but I haven’t opened one since last month so 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have several favorite thing(s) to do like.. to play with my daughter, teach her new things, take her out for a shoot, cuddle with my husband, talk, write my blog posts and eat my heart out!

11. Shorts or jeans?
Shorts!

12. Country or rock?
I’d pretty much like rock more than country!

13. What is your favourite colour?
Your girl lives for the color, RED! ❤️❤️

14. Do you have any tattoos?
I don’t have any.

15. Do you colour your hair?
I do! I’ve started to color my hair when I was in college, right now I’ve got dark blonde hair and I’m planning to dye it out with a Betty Cooper/Serena van der Woodsen kind of blonde next year 👩🏼💛 (that is if my new job allows me to have blonde hair haha)

16. What colour are your eyes?
I’ve got beautiful brown eyes!

17. What is your favourite thing to eat?
Jeez, I’ve got tons of favorite food to eat! But of course, my top 3 would be: pizza, pasta and desserts like ice cream or anything with chocolates!

18. What is your favourite holiday?
I’ve got two: Christmas and New Year! Christmas makes me feel like a 5 year old kid to be honest, also it’s my favorite because I get to see everyone— from my family, relatives, friends and the list goes on. Don’t we just love those once in a blue moon reunions? As for the New Year, it gives me that “let’s start fresh and with a clean slate!” vibes ❤️

19. Beer or wine?
Beer, of course!

20. Night owl or morning person?
This is so millennial. I’m both! 🙈

21. What is your favourite day of the week?
Make this an exception for me because I’ve got 3 favorite days. Friday, Saturday and Sunday! ❤️

22. Do you have a nickname?
Yas! All of my family members calls me by my middle name which is Joy. My friends from high school & from college/colleagues at work, calls me MJ and lastly, my online friends/blogger friends calls me Mary; don’t get confused, it’s the same person! *winks*
